As Mums we often like to have our kids make a fashion statement. Personally I’m not too worried about that one, but if there are sun hats for toddlers that covers my criteria and looks very cute, then it’s an added bonus.
With some items of clothing, the terms trendy and practical don’t always go together. It can often conjure up a picture in our minds of dowdy and old fashioned. BUT, sun hats are really up there when it comes to trendy or cute AND practical.
Cost has to be factored in too and even though this is my daughters skin care I’m thinking of I’m not prepared to pay the earth and very often the gorgeous sun hats can be expensive, but I’m more than happy to shop around for something appropriate. So far, I’ve done very well.
I’m also blessed to have a child that is pretty easy on clothing and She hasn’t grown massively, so Charlotte’s current sun hat has been around for quite sometime and is made of cotton so it is very durable.
I did have to sew on some ties for around her neck on this one so it hasn’t blown away and when it isn’t being worn I have often tied the sun hat around the pram handle for easy access. It can be frustrating searching for something that has slipped to the bottom of the bag when you know for sure it was accessible only moments ago.
It’s the little things that count.
